Nduma Ruwah

Eng. Nduma Ruwah is a Nuclear Energy Infrastructure Engineer at NuPEA. He has a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering from KINGS in South Korea and an Honours Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from JKUAT.

He has experience in designing auxiliary and main power systems, coordination, relaying and protection using PSS/e and ETAP. He is also an experienced data scientist using tools like MS Excel, Looker Studio, PowerBI, Python and Spatial Data analysis using QGIS.


He has been a part of the team that did the preliminary site selection for Kenya’s Nuclear power plant, Large NPP and SMR technology assessment, Nuclear Power Human resource modeling and simulation using Stella Architect. He is also a member of the Energy sector least cost power planning mainly undertaking generation and transmission expansion planning.


Eng. Nduma is a professional engineer registered by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK)
