Linnet Kerubo Nyamweya is a Scientist at the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency, within the Energy Research and Development Directorate. She has a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and a Masters in Nuclear Science, both from the University of Nairobi.
Linnet is a member of Women in Nuclear-Kenya, Kenya Young Generation in Nuclear, World Institute of Nuclear Security (WINS) and Women in Nuclear Experimental Installations (WINEXI). These affiliations have allowed her to engage deeply with the nuclear community, particularly in areas that promote the advancement of women and young professionals in our field.
Her research interests lie primarily in Nuclear Research Reactors, and She is involved in the Kenya Nuclear Research Reactor (KNRR) project. She looks forward to contributing to the Nuclear Society of KEnya’s initiatives and collaborating with all interested partners to further the development and safe application of nuclear technology in Kenya.
