Daisy Mbugua

Daisy Mbugua is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Certified Secretary and Governance Auditor. She is a member of the East Africa Law Society Energy Committee.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and pursuing a Master of Laws Degree in Public International Law at the University of Nairobi.

She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is admitted in the Kenyan Bar Association. She was part of the 2024 International School of Nuclear Law Course at the University of Montpellier, France.

Currently, Ms Mbugua is at the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency involved in development of the Legal & Regulatory Framework for Nuclear Power Development in Kenya. In this capacity, she is involved in development of the nuclear and energy policy, nuclear legislation and treaties.

She is a member of the Law Society of Kenya, the East Africa Law Society, the Institute of Certified Secretaries, Women in Nuclear Law Initiative, the Women in Nuclear Global Kenya Chapter.
